Sapi Bellu

… means something like good food in Sicily and is therefore the most important thing on the sunny island. Nothing happens in Sicily without good food. Thanks to their good location in the mediterranean sea, the Sicilians can enjoy a lot of sun and thus wonderful wines, excellent olive oil and the best fruits. You can taste the sun and the love for food in every bite and in every sip. We don’t want to miss this quality here either and that’s why we import Sapi Bellu ourselves!

The mandarins are coming …

We look forward to the first mandarins! No clementines, but real mandarins. The first boxes are already on their way to us and we can take the first orders! The waiting is over

At the same time we say goodbye to the clementines and look forward to seeing them again in autumn.

New partnership…

We always try not to waste food, that’s why we usually only order what we really need, but it can happen that a little something is left over. For this rare case we are now cooperating with TOO GOOD TO GO. We are happy that we don’t have to throw away any food.

Olive grove

Our passion

We love the beauty of Sicily. The hospitality and the wonderful food.

How it started …

We just wanted to take home the taste of Sicily. Our friends also wanted this when they left us … and suddenly you are trading in olive oil …

The procedure

  1. The harvest
  2. The pressing
  3. The weaning
  4. The bottling
  5. The sale

After the manual harvest in October, the fresh extra virgin olive oil was produced and mined in the small modern mill in Caltabellotta and now the natural “cake” has settled on the bottom of the bottles or aluminum cans and can be delivered.

Since the olive oil is only produced once a year, it is advisable to stock up on an annual supply. If stored correctly, the oil can be kept for 1–1.5 years.

The olive tree is surely the richest gift from heaven.

Thomas Jefferson

The combination of olive oil, garlic and lemon juice lifts the mood in winter.

Yotam Ottolenghi

If only one taste was used to define my cuisine, it would be that of subtle, aromatic extra virgin olive oil.
